TravelForLess Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Hi,I'm trying to book 2 rooms in Hong Kong for 2 nights in may. I need to stay in the Kowloon or Tsimsasui area. I want it to be at least 4 stars. When I take a look at the winning bid here, most of the winning bids are in the Hong Kong Island. The closest I can find was a winning bid of $60 back in June of 2010. I would expect June to be more of a high season than May. My questions are...what kind of price per night am I expected to pay? What will be your strategy? Here's what I've tried:4* Kowloon $55 - Rejected4* Kowloon (add Tsimsasui) $57 - RejectedAm I going too low? I'm thinking about upping 2 or 3 dollars a day.
