Today, bid 75- for 3* and up for all acceptable Manhattan areas--starting with one area and then adding others one at a time, bidding 75 each time, multiple times until all acceptable Manhattan areas were checked. Added Coney Island (which has no 3* hotels) and boosted bid to 87-Got the 3.5 * Club Quarters Wall Street--so I got a higher star level than my minimum, which is nice, in an area that's fine. I am very grateful for this rate. Note: I bid on 4/12 for a hotel 4/15, so this was short notice.
