Priceline Hotel: 4* $155 Hotel in Barcelona may1-may8

Hello,

Im trying to figure out what hotel hotwire is offering for $155 from May 1 - May 8. Its is a 4* hotel in the Forum Area- Sant Marti.

It says it has a fitness centre, Pool, At least one resturant, business centre, laundry facility (self service), and High speed internet access.

Please let me know if you have any ideas as to what hotel this is....

Or is priceline a better option for my stay may1-8 ?

The Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona has previously been seen with this amenity combination, but at the 4.5* level. This property may have been downgraded since it was last reported to the board so that would be my best guess for this one. Since this would be a change from previous reports, you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Whether to use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE depends upon your needs for this stay... if you're looking for the lowest price in the area then PRICELINE is probably going to be your better option... if you'd like to know the amenities offered by the hotel and/or take an educated guess as to what you may receive (and thus have an educated guess regarding where in the zone you might end up) then HOTWIRE can be the better option.

Hi,

I switched my check in date to May2-8 and now that $155 option is not available anymore. There was the exact same hotel and amenities for $159 for the time i needed but it disappeared before I went to book it unfortunitely. Now im not sure what to do, because I dont want to pay $220+ for a 4star* in forum/sant marti area :)

I'm currently seeing the 4* hotel with the original amenity set for $159.
