Strategy was to stay in either Old Bourbon Madrid or one of the other closer areas( Chmaberi,

Castellana, etc.)

as we are way tired of the touristy stuff. Started at 60 dollars for each area with daily

increments of five dollars for four stars.

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $80.00 (USD)

Number of Rooms: 2

Number of Nights: 2

Room Subtotal: $320.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $40.00 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $360.00 (USD)

I have read some not so nice comments but we will see. Of course I used the PRICELINE links

as I have for all 30+ nights I PL'd last year.
