Priceline Hotel: 4* Florence (Airport FLR) Golden Tulip Mirage Hotel

VERY disappointed in this win. To begin the hotel is available on non-opaque sites for $ 75 / night. Next reviews are almost all negative. I know you take chances with Priceline but in likely more than 150 wins this is the first time I have considered simply burning the night and staying somewhere else. Based on past expectations I treated the airport at 4* like a re-bid zone expecting to get a central area (and a better) hotel. My fault but learn from my mistake and do not make this mistake yourself.

To be fair, I did call Priceline customer service (which made the whole experience worse) and they at least honored their price guarantee. It took over 25 minutes of explanation and multiple times being placed on hold while the CSR argued with me about the rate (I had print screened it at $ 75 she actually argued with me that she found it at $ 76) to finally get the promise of a credit (which will go back to my credit card within 14 days) making the hotel $ 25 less than I could have booked online but in order to do so took longer than it was worth to me.
