Hotwire Hotel: Downtown Montreal June weekdays

I am super new here....first post....never bid price line or hot-wire before...

I need a downtown Montreal 4 or 5 star hotel for June 6 to 8 (Monday to Wednesday)....

Here come the questions....

How do I start bidding on this? When should I start bidding? What price should I expect for a weekday stay, given the time of year I will be there...

I need to be super close to Bell Centre...and while I continue to research each hotels amenities....I do need to have double beds in the room...

Any tips or help you can offer??

The issue with PRICELINE is that it only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy; you can request 2 beds, but the hotel may unwilling or unable to grant the request. HOTWIRE - if you search for more than 2 people - does guarantee bedding for the entire party. This is commonly 2 beds, but can be 1 + sofabed or other combination.
