alefti42 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Hi,I'm looking at a 3.5* hotel in Brooklyn, NY that I think might by the Nu Hotel, though I'm not sure. All the amenities match the Nu Hotel except the B for boutique. Additionally, there's no hotel listed in this forum that has this same combo of amenities and stars. My only reservation is that the listing doesn't have the B. Is there any chance this is the Nu? Or is it some other hotel that hasn't been cataloged here?Thanks...

alefti42 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Report Posted April 5, 2011 No problem: It was a 3.5* hotel in Brooklyn, non-smoking, complimentary breakfast, fitness center, business center, and wireless internet. The dates I'd searched were April 30th-May 4th.Thanks
yellowdog Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 We have not had this amenitie combo reported/ID'd yet.It could be the Nu hotel without the B icon or it could be the Best Western Arena Hotel with a new star rating and amenity combo. My guess is the Best Western. But i'm far from sure here. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog.PS. thereuare Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 For $10 more per nite why not stay in Manhattan? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.... and your searches too! Please click these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links before replying.Thanks. alefti42 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Report Posted April 5, 2011 Thanks, I used to live in that neighborhood and a lot of my friends live in Park Slope, so the Nu is appealing, location wise. It also seems like it's a nicer property than a lot of what's available in Manhattan for the same price.
thereuare Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 If you're seeing friends in the area then then by all means, but for the average user looking to visit NYC, i would sooner take a Downtown hotel vs. staying in Brookyln... while Downtown isn't the most convenient, it's more convenient then staying outside of Manhattan, imo. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
