thereuare Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Looking for either 4* or 5*, preferrably on strip.Zones at 4* or 5* based on your Priceline list would include the following:Near Strip EastNear Strip WestStrip NorthStrip North Vicinity - CondoStrip SouthJust want to confirm that you've been to Vegas and are familiar enough with the area and zones? "Near strip" (both east and west) have hotels which are not really that close to the Strip in the sense that it would not be reasonable to expect to walk to/from the strip... of course cabs are easily accessible but their costs could also add up quickly. As well, the 5* Condo in the North Strip would likely land the Trump, which is also not directly on the strip.Perhaps you're willing to compromise on location since rates are fairly high and $120/$100 may not be enough for a 5*/4* directly on the strip, and that's fine, but just wanted to make sure you are familiar enough with the area to know that there would be a good chance you'll be a bit 'out of the way' and need to take taxis to/from the strip each time you'd like to travel there. Also, did you want to try for a 5* first up to your limit ($120) and then if rejected lower to 4* and your limit to $100?Please confirm the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. MattU Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Above sounds fine. If I need to up my limit, then we can do that. Give me your recommendation based on what you have seen.
thereuare Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Above sounds fine.Fine in that you want to bid the FIVE zones you've listed or that you want to stick with just the main part of the strip? Also, did you want to try for a 5* first up to your limit ($120) and then if rejected lower to 4* and your limit to $100????Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
