Mugshot Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 I thought that Priceline allowed bids up to midnight the day of booking, but apparently the deadline's 11 PM. So I got shutout of the great Priceline Wyndham deal. Might have been out of luck anyway since Hotels.com says there are only 5 rooms left. That left me going to Hotwire. Hoping to get the Wyndham, I saw a three-star with Restaurant, Fitness, Business, and an option to choose beds (costs extra) for $51 and paid for the room.Much to my dismay, it was not the Wyndham, but the Four Points. I doubt it will be a lower quality experience - it's just that this is 3-4 more miles from the interstate than the Wyndham, so it's a bit inconvenient. And I know that the Wyndham is great, but I've never stayed at this Four Points.Oh well, live and learn. Do the Hotwire listings often leave off amenities in an attempt to disguise the property?
