Ugh... I should have paid closer attention to the maps...

Bid $61 for 3.5* to try and get the Hyatt Regency as other posters had success on this past winter.. not accepted

Bid $70 for 3 & 3.5* and got accepted at the Residence Inn Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf

I didn't spend enough time looking at the maps and didn't notice that the Cambridge map stretches all the way out to Charlestown. Charlestown?!? Seriously??

Obviously no one's fault but my own.. but it's annoying that I have no recourse. The hotel was listed in Downtown Boston on the non negotiator section.

It will be fine but I'll have to take an expensive cab ride or a long red line to orange line T ride to get there. Hopefully no one else makes this mistake if they are trying to get a hotel that's actually close to Cambridge! If you stick with 3.5* then you'll likely be able to get the Hyatt Regency at a good price like others have.

Thank you for sharing your result with the board!

The retail service and NYOP is two diffrent things and they use diffrent zones and hotels. So you should never use the information from the retail side. But we hope that everything will work for you.

Enjoy your stay.
