Hi

Stopping off in NY for the above dates and would be grateful if anyone could offer a bidding strategy. I'd would probably like to stick to these "touristy zones" as I don't want to be walking anywhere that's too quiet at night. Are these zones best for this?

I would add UM/CPS to the mix as well.

I would think you could do better on Priceline, but lower rates may or may not yet be available. Let us know your maximum bid and when you a ready to start bidding.

Are any of the above rates cancellable so that you can use them as a back-up?

Sorted out my flights and made some bids on Tuesday night for my preferred zone, MTW.

Despite the high rates for this time of year (what's that all about? Is there something on in NY then?) I started low.
