iamjedi Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Hi Stopping off in NY for the above dates and would be grateful if anyone could offer a bidding strategy. I'd would probably like to stick to these "touristy zones" as I don't want to be walking anywhere that's too quiet at night. Are these zones best for this? This time of year appears to be quite expensive with many hotels quoting over
thereuare Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I would add UM/CPS to the mix as well. Here is a guide to NYC ZONE DESCRIPTIONS that i wrote which may be of some help to you.I would think you could do better on Priceline, but lower rates may or may not yet be available. Let us know your maximum bid and when you a ready to start bidding. Are any of the above rates cancellable so that you can use them as a back-up? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
iamjedi Posted May 3, 2005 Author Report Posted May 3, 2005 Thereuare - thanks for coming back so soon. I'll be ready to bid in the next few days or so when I've finalised my flight details. As for the price I was thinking of around
iamjedi Posted May 12, 2005 Author Report Posted May 12, 2005 Sorted out my flights and made some bids on Tuesday night for my preferred zone, MTW. Despite the high rates for this time of year (what's that all about? Is there something on in NY then?) I started low.MTW only -
