Priceline Hotel: 4* Palm Springs Riviera Resort

Started at $110 for resorts for the Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert, rebid at $120 adding Indio, rebid at $130 adding Palm Springs, then rebid adding 4* at $140 and won. I was very surprised to get a 4* hotel as Priceline indicated that the Best Deal was Resorts, not 4*. I should have bid separately for a 4* as I believe I could have obtained a better deal.

Total Room Cost: $329.78 (USD)

Price on hotel website was:

Nightly Rate: $224.25

Total: $574.00

I'm not sure you should create a bid strategy because of the Best Deal icon.
