This was my first time bidding on Priceline. Thanks for the guidance and all the previous results shared. This looks like a great rate for a really nice hotel.

My first choice was to stay in the Loop/Grant Park area, but I started too low at $60 and had to add other areas for two additional bids. Our daughter may be going to college in Chicago (we're going up for a second visit on this trip), so we may be using Priceline a lot!

VERY nice deal for this well-located boutique property, which is right off Michigan Ave. If you have any questions regarding the city, please let me know. If your daughter does decide to come here for college, definitely sign up for local grocery (Jewel, Dominicks, or just go to Trader Joes, as there is a location downtown) and drug store (CVS/Walgreens) rewards programs, and sites like Groupon are also great ways to save locally, as the high sales tax does add up for day-to-day things over time. Most Universities do provide the U-pass, so CTA transit to/from school is part of tuition. You can read more about U-Pass here.
