For $42 in the Troy-Madison Heights region, I landed "The MET Hotel" at 5500 Crooks Road in Troy, MI.I was honestly expecting another hotel, this is a surprise, and I hope it will be a pleasant one. Here is their website:I booked it today on March 31, 2011 - for an April 6-7, 1-night stay.The amenity icons listed are: Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (self-service)High-Speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyFYI, it also appears that this exact hotel could be had for a little cheaper (e.g. $40) if you book even earlier in advance.
