travelingmomma Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 3.29.11 trough 3.30.11 bid on priceline $55 for room that normally sells for $139. It was amazing for the price we paid. Two room suites including a living room area, refridgerator, huge king size bed that felt like a cloud, and I can't forget to mention the spacious bathroom with enormous JETTED TUB! Above and beyond my expectations when I asked for a 3.5* room in Lexington South for that amount! I would recommend this place to anyone I encounter! It was my first time using priceline, and we had to stay over again unexpectedly. We tried to get it again, but were unable to because I wasn't aware of the option to extend your stay if you go into your trips after signing into priceline. We ended up having to use hotwire to bid on another room because my request was denied the next time I tried it later that day. We wound up in a room that is WAY less than what we had and paid 2 dollars more for it....I have learned to look for links like the "extend your stay" and not try to do things in a hurry next time around. Again...the Doubletree was absolutely perfect...and that's an understatement! Also, although the previous guest was able to smell dog scents..our room was extremely fresh and clean. Maybe just had a dog in that room recently. Sorry for your unpleasant experience in that aspect.
