4* Tampa (Airport TPA West) Grand Hyatt, $65, 4/1-4/3

Opened my bidding with a $60 bid for a 4* hotel in Airport TPA West and Airport TPA South which was rejected.

I was given a free rebid at $75 that I refused so I could add a region instead.

I added the Tampa (Airport TPA North) region with a bid of $65 which was accepted.

After taxes and fees the total for 2 nights was $154.90.

(Compare with the published rate of $159 for one night from Hyatt's website.)

great deal for that hotel, next time though if youre not so sure about that price start off with just one of the zones and not 2, that way you dont give away a free rebid if that makes sense.

As someone who grew up in teh area and still frequents it, the only downside to that hotel is to come and go you must pass through a pretty busy highway interchange that can also be confusing so if you arent familiar with the area or a timid driver id recc taking your time!

I arrived early and to accommodate an early check-in was offered an upgrade to a gulf view for an extra $30/night. Still an excellent deal and the view was great. Hotel was located perfectly since I was splitting my time between Hillsborough and Pinellas.
