I am going to chicago to take my USMLE Step 2CS exam on April 19th and the address of the place is 8501 West Higgins Road Chicago IL 60631. I am looking for a hotel close to this area, and the hotels right next to the exam center is about 104 dollars plus taxes. So I decided to check out hotwire.

Dates are April 18th to April 20th

Found a 4 1/2* hotel O'Hare Intl Airport ORD South $66 per night

Amenities Include:

-Airport shuttle

-Fitness room

-restaurants

-business center

-high speed internet access

-golf near by

Our 4.5-star hotel suppliers include: The Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, and other top brands. See more details

I am also looking at the 4* hotel for $59 per night

amenities include:

-Airport shuttle

-Fitness room

-restaurants

-business center

-high speed internet access

-golf near by

Our 4-star hotel suppliers include: InterContinental, Hyatt, Omni, and other prestigious hotel brands.

Can you please help me identify these hotels, so I can see how far they are from the testing center. Thanks for all your help

The 4.5* would be a possible match for the Intercontinental, while the 4* is a possible match for the Hyatt.

The one note is that if you're driving, a number of the hotels in the ORD area do charge for parking if you're driving. Many of the hotels a bit further out in the nearby burbs (Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village) do not.

Hey thank you so much. Is there anyway to get the address on these hotels? I am actually taking the Grey Hound from St. Louis and will not have a car. Now I need to see how far these hotels are from the testing center. Also is it easy to get cabs at like 7 am in the morning. Thanks

If you are headed into downtown on the Greyhound, I'd take the CTA Blue Line out to that area, as a cab from downtown out to the O'Hare area (the address for the testing facility appears right near the Cumberland CTA station) in morning traffic could be quite expensive.

Cabs out at ORD-area properties should be reasonably easy to get.

Hey I am going out on the 18th a day before the exam and staying at the hotel, and then take a cab to the exam and then check out the city that night and stay there that night and take greyhound back on the 20th. I looked at the hyatt and according to their map it might be the Hyatt at Rosemont or Hyatt regency. Is there a big difference in Hyatt vs Intercontinental

Hey thanks so much for your help. I booked the hotel and its the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. I am very happy as its only 1 mile from the testing center and it is about the same price for two nights here vs 1 night at Marriott
