Hi,

I'm looking to i.d. these two hotels I'm considering through Hotwire.

The dates are May 4th-May 7th. One room, 2 adults 2 children.

There is a 3 star in Anaheim/Disney North for 57.00 a night. It charges a resort fee and amenities include restaurant, business center. laundry, smoke free rooms, pool, fitness center, and internet.

I'm also considering a 3.5 star hotel at 82.00 a night in Anaheim/Disney South with 90% positive reviews. It is smoke free, has a pool, fitness center, internet, and I don't see a resort fee.

Any input is welcome. We are not super picky, but I'd like to have a good idea about the distance to Disney, and I run a small blog, so I'd like to know in advance about extra fees for wifi etc... Thanks bunches, and I will, of course, go through your links.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please start by reading your messages.

The 3* property matches the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suite Anaheim (Walnut St) while the 3.5* property matches reports for the Sheraton Garden Grove Anaheim South, so that would be my best guess for each.

Thanks for your help. After reading all through the forum, I decided to use your PRICELINE links to bid on a 3.5 star.

I ended up getting the Red Lion Anaheim for 60.00 after starting at 45.00 and rebidding using your zone method.

I will add this report to the Priceline forum.

We won't have a car, so I'm not worried about the parking fee.

A little concerned about the walking distance to Disney, but very pleased with the rate and the hotel overall.

Apologies for not writing down my exact bids. I used your PRICELINE link to bid on a hotel in Anaheim. I started around 45.00 and rebid four times, adding zones as you suggest.

I ended up with the Red Lion in Anaheim for 60.00

We won't have a car, so I'm not concerned about the parking fee.

I'm a little concerned about the walk, but we can always take the shuttle.

Thanks for all your help. I feel like I got a good rate for this hotel.
