Question from newbie -- is there any way to bid on this specific property on priceline? I'm familiar with the bid and re-bid process, but wonder if there's a way to identify which property will likely be selected before being locked into it. Also, if trip insurance is purchased through priceline, does this effectively make the reservation refundable?

There is no way to bid on/increase the odds of a particular property by using PRICELINE. Trip insurance is for very specific situations and does not allow one to cancel if they do not like the hotel result.
