Follow up on this hotel stay. It was in a desolate part of town, although relatively easy to get on/off the freeway. The motel was off by itself, but the surrounding area was filled with vacant retail space. When I pulled up to the motel, had I not already booked through Hotwire, I would never have stayed there. Outside entrance rooms with a slap-dash paintjob to make the building look more new than it was. The clerk was super friendly and very welcoming, and the rooms weren't bad. It looked like they were trying to remodel from the inside and eventually get to the outside.

I can't say that I'd recommend this location for a single woman traveling with two children (as I was), although we had no issues during our stay. My comfort level from a security standpoint wasn't there, though.

Interestingly, out of three hotels/motels booked through Hotwire on this trip, this was the one location I was not offered a Hotwire survey so I could state that I would not stay there again. Coincidence? Or maybe they're no longer a Hotwire location. Dunno.
