Bidding for the San Diego area, looking for 4* or higher.

4* San Diego (failed) 04-03 to 04-05

2 rooms (need room for 2 adults 4 children)

$51 4* San Diego Costal - failed

$54 4* added Del Mar - failed

$59 4* added El Cahone - failed

$62 4* added Downtown/Harbor - failed

$65 4* added Point Loma - failed

Most of the 4*'s are adding $15 or so for parking, this is pushing the total cost with taxes over $304.

I can get Residence Inn hotel circle for the $313 range.....(but it is 1 room vs 2), or Carlsbad Homewood Suites at $352 (again 1 room vs 2), I could live with these. I'll think about adjusting before I added any more.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Rates are not that high for your dates. I wouldn't give up yet.

What would your max budget be 2 rooms/night before tax fee?

I don't know how old your childrens is but you might know that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, which means you may receive a room with only one bed and the hotel could assign you a room with only one bed. You could request a room with two bed, but the hotel could be unable, or unwilling, to accommodate your request... or charge an additional fee if they are willing to accommodate you request.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
