... or are you looking for somebody to confirm whether or not this is a good hotel? What is the price?

I followed the HOTWIRE link and this is what I found:

Resort, Beachfront, Casino, Pool, Restaraunt, Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High Speed Internet,Tennis Nearby, Spa Services

It seems like it is the Intercontinental and the price is $ 134.00 per night for 4 people. Does this seem like a good deal and is the resort nice?

Most San Juan hotels have some negative reviews written about them. It's an expensive hotel market and guests therefore usually expect more, but culturally San Juan is different then the States, and this cultural difference is often interpreted as poor service. While San Juan is part of the US, it's still very much an island and operates on "island time" where 'right away' means "i'll get to it in a little while"... sometimes this doesn't sit well with high paying guests and they therefore have negative reviews... those who understand these differences often have good reviews.

With the above noted, this is one of the better hotels in San Juan... it has a great location on the beach and a very nice pool area. This is about a $50/nite savings vs. a conventional booking.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
