christianne
Booked two rooms at this great rate for Sunday night, May 1! Tried to get a 4-star for $40, and when that was (naturally) rejected, lowered my standards to a 3-star and upped the bid by $10--voila! Hope this helps! Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your winning bid. While this is an excellent deal and i dont' think this was an overbid, the way you bid could have easily led to one, as it's usually recommended to LOWER YOUR BID IF YOU LOWER YOUR STAR QUALITY. As well, if you were willing to bid higher you had plenty of RE-BIDS available at the 4* level. It doesn't seemed to have mattered too much in this instance, but it could easily be a problem in other zones, so just want to make sure you understand the above to prevent any problems in the future. Any questions on either of the concepts above feel free to ask.Have a great stay and thanks for posting. :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
