Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.

Unfortunately the 3* property has not yet been reported to the board. The Hotel Huntington Beach showing fewer amenities then its previously been seen with is a possibility, or perhaps something along the lines of the Holiday Inn looks like a good fit as well.

For the 4* Costa Mesa-Airport-Irvine property, this matches the Westin South Coast Plaza so that would be my best guess for this one.

Thank you for your response and sorry about having those two posts in separate threads.

The Westin sounds like a great deal. But I've read reviews about hefty $28/night parking fee although I do not see this from the "before you go" info listed by Hotwire. Does hotwire always disclose about added parking charges before purchase?

My very first priceline experience.

I started at $70 selecting Newport Beach-Huntington Beach area.

Next offer was $71 selecting Anaheim which did not have a 4*.

Finally, added Buena Park which also did not have a 4* and raised offer only by $2 to $73 and offer was accepted.

I decided to use Priceline instead of Hotwire and got Fairmont Newport Beach for $73/night.

I used the PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding.com. I posted the details under the Orange County - Priceline forum.

Thank you for all the help.

This website has been extremely helpful!
