Priceline Hotel: 3* Seattle (Airport SEA) Coast Gateway

First time using Priceline and was coached by a fiend who says he uses them regularly for SEATAC airport and usually gets Hilton or Double Tree. We did it and got the Coast for $40. Thought it would be of the quality of the other hotels, but it was not. What a dump. The room was a small closet size room with one double bed, you could not even fit a queen size bed in the room. The smell upon entering was overpowering flowers, the cheap prefume type to mask what was most likely years of smoking. We went to the front desk to ask for a different room and we were told that is the room for priceline quests. WOW it sucked. They refused to move us, Priceline refused to help us and we left the hotel without staying

Have since askled for and been refused a refund, so having my MasterCard dispute the charge.

Stayed there back in January and definitely had a better experience, but I agree that the hotel is not 3* quality, I got a 2.5* experience. Great value with the included parking, breakfast, & internet (if you use at&t)...but the rooms are too small and too outdated to rate a 3*.

Priceline should downgrade the place.
