gmacbeth Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 We have never used Priceline or Hotwire, but are considering it for an upcoming visit to Seattle June 23-June 27. Hotwire is showing a 4.5* hotel that is a boutique hotel with restaurant, fitness center & business center for $200 and...a 4* hotel for $189 with amenities restaurant, pool, fitness center & business center. Any idea what these hotels might be, particularly the one shown as "boutique?" Also, we need a room for 4 since our two college age children will accompany us--it looks to us like Hotwire might be a safer bet since you can specify 4 to a room. Any advice there? Thanks!
thereuare Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!The 4.5* is a match for the Hotel Monaco and the 4* is a match for the Westin, so those would be our best guesses as to these properties.On a current search i'm showing the 4.5* at $160 and the 4* at $185. If our id's above are correct, the Monaco seems to be a good deal, but the Westin reflects the same price as offered thru their website.Since you need quad occupancy i do think that Hotwire is a better option for you in this instance.If you book either of the above let us know how it goes and please use this HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.If we can be of further help feel free to ask.
