More importantly, why are they so expensive during this time? Also I'm hoping to get a Hilton to get the points. Do they give points when I use HOTWIRE?Thanks for your help!
AaronJB Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Not sure why the area is so expensive during this period (convention?) This amenity set has been previously reported with the Beacon, so that would be my guess in this case.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Typically you won't get a stay credit or points for your room purchase... but usually can get points for any incidentals or other items (internet, restaurant, etc) you bill to the room. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Glenbo Posted March 26, 2011 Author Report Posted March 26, 2011 Thanks for your reply. How about the below?3* $209 Dupont Circle - Embassy Row area hotelboutiqueHi speed internet95% recommendedand4* $202 Georgetown areaFitness centerpool restaurantBusiness centerLaundryhi speed internet90% recommendedThanks again for your help! :)
thereuare Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Please start by reading your messages. The 3* Dupont Circle property matches previous reports for the Normandy Hotel so that would be my best guess for this one.I'm not seeing the Georgetown property you've listed above... is it perhaps 3* rated? (not 4* as posted) If you're still seeing this property offered, are you searching for more then one room or for something other then the default 2adults/0children?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Glenbo Posted March 27, 2011 Author Report Posted March 27, 2011 My mistake. The Georgetown hotel is a 3*, not 4.And if I can be so bold, there is another hotel below. 4* $261 Dupont Circle - Embassy Row areaSmoke free roomsFitness centerRestaurantsBusiness centerHi speed internetRecommended by 85% of customer reviewsI love your website! :)
AaronJB Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 The 4* is a possible match for the Dupont Hotel or Palomar, although I'd lean towards the former.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
