Lori K Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Hi! We have tour passes for Whitehouse and other areas for Monday, April 11, and Tuesday, April 12. We live 12 hours away. Thought first night of stay would be Sunday April 10, but we're flexable. Our length of stay would depend upon our lodging rate. This is definately traveling on a budget. We want to be near a metroWould prefer a level for something like a Courtyard because of complimentary breakfast. But then - if it's really true that I could get a great rate of something fabulous near everything, I could probably figure out a cheap breakfast. Also - does Priceline provide deal opportunities for meals?
AaronJB Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The concern with PRICELINE would be that the service only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy; you can request two beds, but the hotel could be unable or unwilling to offer two beds. HOTWIRE would be a better option in this case, given the ability to indicate 2 adults/2 children. In terms of breakfast, with HOTWIRE you could look for a property with a free breakfast icon. However, with both services, there is no guarantee of a hotel that would be right near a train line. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
