Hotwire Hotel: Birmingham Starwood

I'm looking to stay in Birmingham for a full week, and would love to get into an SPG hotel to earn the points. I do not know the Birmingham area at all, so it's difficult for me to cross reference the pinned hotel list. I know the two Starwood Hotels are:

Sheraton Birmingham Hotel

2101 Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard North

Birmingham, Alabama 35203

and

Aloft Birmingham Soho Square

1903 29th Avenue South

Homewood, Alabama 35209

It doesn't look like the Aloft is on hotwire, so what I'm wondering is if the Sheraton Birmingham listed might be this Starwood Hotel. Any answers appreciated!

So are you going to book direct for this stay... if so, please use the links in our support page (where we have links to starwood branded hotels as well as most other major booking chains and online agencies). However, are the points worth what you'd likely pay thru PRICELINE / HOTWIRE vs. the cost of a direct booking?

Also, please follow-up your previous Hotwire Memphis thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Please remember to follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing for the stay, even if you choose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc.
