Any idea which hotel this could be?

Amenities include: Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center and High Speed Internet Access.

It looks like it could be one of many: (Allerton, Omni, Millenium Knickerbocker, Avenue, Drake, Westin North Mich, Sutton Place, or Whitehall).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Unfortunately, without a tripadvisor rating showing, there's no way to narrow down the possibilities. The Whitehall and Allerton would not be as appealing results as the remainder of those; 3.5* would be a more accurate rating for both of those properties (although I will say both of those properties are excellent from a location standpoint.)

While not a 4*, when searching for 2 adults/2 children, I do see a 3.5* in the NMA-WT-GC area w/Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business. My guess for that would be the Hilton Suites - if this is the Hilton, that's a very nice property just right off Michigan Ave.

If you are not seeking a specific 4* property, I'd suggest bidding on PRICELINE for a 4* in the NMA-River North zone; I'd guess you may be able to be successful at the 4* level for as low as $67-75 and would suggest $65 as a starting point (and increasing by $2 at a time if $65 is not accepted.)

Sorry about not including the Trip Advisor info...pretty new here.

This was listed on Hotwire below the ammenities:

Recommended in 80% of Hotwire customer reviews

I am a little nervous about getting the Allerton- the room pics on Trip Advisor are probably too small- I will be traveling with my pregnant friend and saying in what looks like one double bed shoved against four walls for the both us might be too uncomfortable. I would not hesitate if I knew that we would get a King bed, but there is no guarantee (and probably woud not because we are Hotwire customers)

We have been trying Priceline for a couple of weeks with no luck, increasing our bid by $2 daily. It's proving to be more money than we were hoping to spend at this point. We are also running into the same problem....not being able to single out which hotel we would end up with (coming up with many alternatives for a four star in that NME area).

The 80% note is the HOTWIRE customer % rating. The tripadvisor reviews are included on some reviews, but unfortunately not in this case, which would help with trying to narrow down possibilities.

The Allerton is an older property, and rooms are on the smaller side. What have you tried up to on PRICELINE so far?

The possible Hilton Suites (which is coming up only when searching for 2/2, not just 2) - /Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business. If that is the Hilton Suites, while not a 4*, personally I'd find it preferable to the Whitehall or Allerton and it would offer a larger space.

There's also a 4* in the Mag Mile/Streeterville w/fitness, business, restaurant, smoke-free, pool, internet - which would likely be the Sheraton. While not my favorite property, it's in a really nice area and some rooms on higher floors may offer a nice view of the surrounding area.

I'm also seeing a 3.5* Mag Mile w/fitness, restaurant, business, internet, pool for $71; that would likely be the Doubletree Mag Mile.

Looks like a people have been winning the Hyatt Regency on Priceline a lot.

I want to place my bid, but wanted to verify that these wins were for the Hyatt on Wacker. I do not want to stay at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, but it also looks on the map to be located in the Millenium Park-Loop-Grant Park area. I notice that people have won both on Priceline in the past, but the Hyatt Regency on Wacker is the location that is closer to where we want to be.

Any thoughts?

How do you plan on avoiding the one bed/small room situation on PRICELINE?

Have you tried searching HOTWIRE (reminder: using the HOTWIRE link on the board) for quad occupancy... at least this would ensure separate sleeping accommodations for each of you (although the second 'bed' could be a rollaway, pullout sofabed, etc)
