Hotwire Hotel: Secaucus New Jersey-Help

Who knows which hotel is 2.5 star, $60.00, comp breakfast, resturant, laundry and high speed internet? The say is 3/27-4/1 would like to be in the Harmond Medows area it was nice like a small town with shopping and other resturants and bus to New York was 15 minutes don't want to get stuck at Sherdan or Howard Johnson heard to many bad things about them.

HOTWIRE is currently down at the moment (my searches won't complete) so please try searching HOTWIRE in an hour, once you're able to see offers on a search for this area, please reply to this thread (as that will put it back in the queue to be reviewed) and we'll have a closer look at this property. I have a few guesses, but nothing that is an exact match, so i'd like to be able to see the offering before commenting.

Just checked again and the listing is still showing. I'll take a guess as my date is getting closer just don't want to be in a isolated area. 2.5 star, breakfast, pool, laundry, internet, secacus medowlands area...

Do you also see a POOL icon associated with this property? (as i'm seeing the amenities above PLUS a pool icon) If not, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

EDIT TO ADD: i see your recent post above (we crossed posted) includes a POOL icon (which is why we like to see the offerings ourselves to make sure we're researching the full list of amenities as one amenity included/excluded can cause us to guess a different property). This listing is a match for the La Quinta Inn and Suite in Clifton so that would be my best guess for this one. Based upon your comments above i don't think this is the ideal location for you... what is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this stay?

I'd like to spend $100 or so per night so this one was not bad. Last year we stayed at the Hampton Inn which was ideal because other resturants and shopping plus it offered a bus to NY for a few dollars which is a plus as we are mainly interested in spending time in NY.

Also, this listing says Secaucus Medowlands area...how is it in Clifton, wouldnt it have said Clifton?

Often the zones can span across multiple city limits and the zone name might not include all cities within the zone. What really matters is the boundaries of the zone, and this La Quinta is within the Meadowlands-Secaucus zone boundaries.

If you can extend your budget another $10-$15/nite you might be able to get something directly in Manhattan, which would be worth the extra expense for convenience and experience of staying directly in Manhattan.
