I tried $60 in the White Haven area and was rejected so I tried $66 in hazleton. The candlewood suites was $145 on Hotwire, so I just wanted my bid to match. I really paid $5 less a night due to a coupon, but I put in what Priceline paid since most people wouldn't have a coupon. Looking back I should have only tried ~55 for Hazleton. I just wanted the deal done since we're going up for a funeral in the Freeland/White Haven area and just wanted to be as close as possible. Saved $85 over the standard rate so I am happy.
