MikeyFresh Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 I was able to figure out that the hotel that I wanted to stay at was in Circle #1 on the Priceline grid. I looked for all three star hotels on Priceline in the Ft Lauderdale area and there were 36. Of those 36, only 2 were possible outcomes in the Coral Springs area. The Marriott Golf Club and Convention Center on Heron Bay Blvd and a Courtyard by Marriott on North University Drive. I was able to obtain the address of the Courtyard Marriott and saw that it was not within the Circle #1 so I concluded that the only 3 star hotel was the one I was looking for. Then I looked on betterbidding.com and saw that others got the Heron Bay Blvd hotel which gave me additional assurance (even though the thread was over a year old)My first attempt was accepted at $55 per night plus taxes and fees = $64 per night. The asking price was $129 per night so over a four night stay I saved nearly $300.Coral Springs Marriott Golf Club And Convention Center11775 Heron Bay BlvdCoral Springs, FL 330761-954-753-5598Check-In: Thursday, May 12, 2011-03:00 PM Check-Out: Monday, May 16, 2011-12:00 PM Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $55.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 4 Room Subtotal: $220.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $35.64 (USD) Total Room Cost: $255.64 (USD)
