This purchase was arranged for friends who are attending the same function as we are on Saturday night. I remembered to use the "giftcard06" promo code since they are new Hotwire users and they have the $10 discount. They were originally booked at the Congress Plaza for $129 and I just couldn't let them suffer needlessly - they were thrilled to get the Sheraton for $95 including tax! (almost wish I had waited another few days to book my own room!)

Also, can now confirm that Sheraton was downgraded from 4* to 3.5* - and it didn't show as a Customer favorite when I booked it for them (though I could SWEAR it was listed as one when I checked the price initially.) By the way, I used your link for Hotwire from a previous thread.
