MeAko Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Started at $65, Priceline had a message like he is almost certain that the bid won't be accepted. But searching through the winning bids here and the Hyatt or Sheraton has been won from anywhere between $60-85.I started at $65 - DeniedAdded NOB Hill $70 - DeniedAdded Civic Center $80 - DeniedAdded USE $90 - DeniedAdded Japantown $102 ----still denied!Am I missing something here? :)
MeAko Posted March 22, 2011 Author Report Posted March 22, 2011 Got worn out trying for those 3.5 and 4 stars in Wharf and Embacadero, just stuck with the old reliable Holiday Inn, at least Wi-Fi is free.Used the PRICELINE link.Price from Holiday Inn site comes out $456.50 all in.Savings of $186.98.Bittersweet since for the same bid amount others got the Hyatt. Guess I'm just being too "greedy". :)
yellowdog Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) Bittersweet since for the same bid amount others got the Hyatt. Guess I'm just being too "greedy".Rates are date specific so you can't compare them this way. Everything is about supply and demand with opaque rooms. We hope you're satisfied with the outcome and will like the Holiday Inn.Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.
