Using priceline to book Chicago Delhi Flight

I am trying to book a chicago delhi flight using priceline. I am worried about connection time etc. Is proceline a good option for trips to India. Also is connection time sufficient when using priceline on international routes.

My concern would be too long of a connection time rather than too tight of a connection.

Airfare bidding is worth a shot, but typically the savings are not as great as we see on hotels and car rentals.

What is the best all-in fare you're able to find for this route? How much of a discount would you need to make an opaque purchase (where you don't know the depature/arrival times, layover city, layover length, etc) worthwhile?
