I'll also suggest consideration of bidding for 3.5* on PRICELINE in the Deerfield zone; the two "known" (new ones can be added/reported at any time) 3.5*'s in that zone are the Marriott Suites and Embassy Suites; both very nice properties (although the Marriott doesn't offer breakfast.) The "known" 4* in the Deerfield zone is the Hyatt, which is a suite property (although it doesn't offer breakfast, either.)I will note that the Marriott/Embassy/Homewood/Hyatt (not the Staybridge as much and definitely not the Springhill) are isolated - there are definitely a good deal of dining/shopping options a short drive away from these hotels, but you may want to do a little grocery shopping before if you don't plan on going out to eat, as the Marriott/Embassy/Hyatt are within office parks and the Homewood doesn't have much of anything directly around it.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
red4u2 Posted March 23, 2011 Author Report Posted March 23, 2011 Thank you both for your help- i used HOTWIRE and it is the La quinta inn & Suites in Bannockburn, il$51 plus taxes and fees $61.54- i am dissappointed. I was really hoping for one of the three properties mentioned above, I could have booked it on my own for only ten bucks more- yhe reason i didint go up another star and bid on zone 4 for the Hyatt or such is that i didnt want to be that far to the southeast, In the area i was looking most of the area was farther North and West, this property is on the very edge on the zone, oh well...thank you for your help!!
