lucyp Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 I need to stay in Manhattan from June 26 to June 28. I need to stay as close as possible to Stuveysant Park..318 east 15th street. Does anyone know which zone I should bid in? The zones are so large that I am worried I will end up too far away. What hotels do priceline and hotwire usually sell in the zone near stuveysant park? I saw that the warwick and algonquin had winning bids during this time period but im not sure what zone they are in or if they are near my destination. HELP?
thereuare Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! This location is not within a PRICELINE zone, but you probably do have some options to get you close... just how close can you afford to be? Do you need to be within walking distance, is a short bus/subway ride acceptable, a taxi ride??What is your desired star rating and budget? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. lucyp Posted March 21, 2011 Author Report Posted March 21, 2011 I would like it to be in walking distance but it really doesn't have to be. Just as close as possible. I am thinking it would be either zone 3 or 6 but I'm not sure which one. I really would like to keep the cost at under 160 per night.
thereuare Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Please use zone names (rather then the numbers) to avoid any confusion for future users as the zone order, and therefore the numbers, will change as new zones are added or existing zones are re-named.What star rating are you seeking for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. lucyp Posted March 21, 2011 Author Report Posted March 21, 2011 the zones are chelsea area or empire state building. I would like a 3.5 or 4 star rating.
