JustClaire Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Placed the $42 bid for a 3* hotel in the medical center area. They gave me this Crowne Plaza and told me it was an upgrade to 3.5*. Well there's a surprise! The name says it's in the River Oaks area, but it looks more like the Upper Kirby area to me. In any event, it really isn't in the area of the other Med Center/Reliant hotels I have stayed at AND it looks like they don't even have a shuttle to the medical center. The reviews on yelp aren't too favorable, but I guess we'll see...**Please note the change in star level when you are bidding in an area that might include this hotel. Apparently, it used to be listed as a 3*
