Hotwire Hotel: 3* Los Angeles (Airport LAX) Hacienda Hotel

I was trying for the LAX Holiday Inn on LaCienega, but I got the HACIENDA on Sepulveda for one night, tomorrow 3-20-2011. Not very happy as I did not even see this hotel as a possibility in my research (which was brief I admit) on the list. The reviews on TripAdvisor are scary.

Anyway, amenities listed as:

This hotel has been upgraded from 2.5* to 3*. This is the reason you didn't see it on the list as a 3*.

I always take the TA reviews with a grain of salt. And keep in mind with TA reviews that many of those people paid full price, which is often significantly more, and may have different expectations at those price points. And for some reason is the TA people eager to complain over ridiculous things.

And i wouldn't worry that much about a hotel that got 3.5/5 on TA.
