redundant echo Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 I bid $50 for a 3 star in the university area. 2nd bid of $51 adding 2.5 stars. Rcvd. Springhill Suites. It appears to be close to I-75, which is great. Trip advisor reviews are mixed, but mostly good. Management seems to read each review & remarks on them, good or bad. I'm always a bit impressed when a business takes the time to read what the customers think. There is a free breakfast which may be needed, as this is Easter weekend & I'm not sure what will be open on Sunday. Also, it appears that this is part of the Marriott family. Looks like this hotel goes for $99 on Priceline & $114/weekend rate directly with the hotel. I'm fine with my bid, altho I always 2nd guess a bit when I start with a 3 star & then go down. :)
