misseskb Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I am looking to visit NYC August 31 through September 4th or 5th. Is it too early too bid on hotels? I am interested in a 3-4 star hotel. I am open to areas other than the airports, Madison Square Garden, and Long Island. My budget is $200 or less per night. We are not looking to live in the room, but a clean, comfortable room, with a private bath. Thanks.
thereuare Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages. As far as when to bid, see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Although we'll need further clarification which zone(s) you're willing to accept (and we'll offer some suggestions based upon the star rating you decide upon) i don't expect your budget to be much of an issue. At the moment you could get a 4* hotel for less than $200/nite and it woudl get a little cheaper from there depending upon the star level and zone(s) you ultimately decided upon. After reading the 'bid early or late' thread above let us know once you have decided upon your travel dates and we'll advise further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
misseskb Posted March 3, 2016 Author Report Posted March 3, 2016 We decided not to take the trip after all. Thank you.
