diegoc Posted March 22, 2011 Author Report Posted March 22, 2011 Well our flight was 6 hours delayed so we didn't arrive till 11:30 PM. Front desk said they were out of king rooms so we could have 2 double beds or move up to a suite for an extra fee. Took the 2 doubles. He then asked about parking; self for $12 or valet for $16. He was really pushing the valet. Took the self-park. All said and done, he gave us the suite anyway because they were out of rooms, and gave us valet for $12 since Self Park was already full. Score!Having never stayed at a W Hotel I was a little let down by the room, especially considering we were in a suite. Two rooms, full kitchen, two flat screens. I could see that they were trying to present a kind of urban/hip product but it just came off as dated and tired. All white decor of room needed a good cleaning. Location is perfect being right in the perimeter shopping center with plenty of shops and restaurants but unfortunately that is all this property has going for it. It's hard to complain about a suite for $50 a night, but I probably wouldn't want to stay here again.
