theo2112 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Hi, my girlfriend and I are trying to book a somewhat last minute trip to DC. We are planning on staying 3/31-4/2 (maybe 4/3 if the price is right)We're trying to balance our desire to stay someplace nice (3.5-4*) with our budget of about $300 total. I've been toying around on priceline without much success below $150 a night. We are not opposed to staying in 2 different places if it helps get good rates. My theory is that since we're trying for a Thursday-Friday, our rates are being turned down. Would it make sense to try and book the two nights separate?Any other thoughts?thanks-theo

theo2112 Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Posted March 17, 2011 I've been bidding up to $125 for 4* hotels in the downtown, convention center and georgetown zones. I'd like to be in one of those three zones ideally, and in that order as well.
