mikesn02 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 This one has driven me nuts. I got a hotel in London for $85/night +tax, but can't seem to do the same in Paris. Looking from 5/10-5/13, anywhere except for La Defense. Location preferences as follows: Champs Elysees, Opera Quarter, Latin Quarter, Eiffel Tower, Montmarte, & Bastille. Is this a futile effort or will I get this by continuin to bid $85/night? I feel like that should turn up something in all of Paris. That being said, I have never been to Paris and may be way out of touch.Any advice would be helpful.
yellowdog Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 I don't think that $85 is realistic with the current rates. It's hard to give an estimate but i think you're looking at $125+What would your max budget/night be before tax fee? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.

mikesn02 Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Seeing some 4* in the areas I am looking at for $140 to start. Most of the hotels are $180 or over. On Expedia I am seeing a 4* in Louve-Marais area for $122.
thereuare Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Most of the hotels are $180 or over...Which help explain why your $85 bids are being rejected :)Given your next best deal is at $120/nite (is that hotel acceptable??) how high are you willing to bid for Paris? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
