mikesn02 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Looking to stay close to the city (if not directly in the city) but can't seem to make sense of this option on hotwire. Any advice would be helpful. I know other people have posted recently on 4* Zurich, but this seems to be a bit different. Listed for $100 (before tax), 4*Zurich area Hotel (0.6 - 4.6 mi from city center)Recommended in 80% of Hotwire customer reviews Hotel Ammenities:Airport Shuttle <amenity names only please... not descriptions> Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Area of map that is highlighted looks to be from downtown Zurich to North of Glattburg up towards Rumlang. I don't have a car, and would prefer to be downtown. Just not sure if I can take this gamble. Please let me know if anyone else has tried this recently.
mikesn02 Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Posted March 17, 2011 by the way, am looking for 2 nights, May 13th-15th. Unsure if that makes a difference.
thereuare Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board and with just these two amenities (the Shuttle is not necessarily complimentary which is what makes this difficult to research) i don't have any insight as to what this may likely be.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
MadFlyer Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 I would guess NH Zurich Airport with the tripadvisor rating of 3,5 and they have a free shuttle. Not a great location.
mikesn02 Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Posted March 17, 2011 How do you get the trip advisor rating? Was that just something you looked up in correlation with your guess at the NH Zurich? Or is this something I missed while on hotwire?
AaronJB Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 HOTWIRE does not always show the tripadvisor rating. If the listing is showing it, it will be on the detail page towards the bottom of the page. You will see the tripadvisor logo with a number of circles shaded.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
