Romelle Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Dave,If you enter "miami south beach" in the Quick Search box straight up above you will get a list of all the bids for that area reported here. Since the administrators always fix up the titles when a bid is complete, they are in a standard format. You can just scan down them and get a good idea of the bids that are working. Bids are of course date-specific, so you can also enter your dates and select Florida in the Calendar of Wins in the center of this page. I believe there is at least one South Beach win there.Regarding the Hotwire list of hotels, it appears once as the first post in the Florida overall section, and again as the first post in the Florida Hotwire section. A good thing to do is to try your dates in Hotwire. While you said you are planning on bidding Priceline, the Hotwire offerings are good to know as a bidding max. Some combination of the lowest one sees as a win on Priceline, 1/2 off the actual hotel web site rack rates, and maybe 15% off the Hotwire offering can be used to figure out a minimum. Bids are of course free, so you can start as low as you'd like.Romelle
