thereuare Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 At $200+ why not just stay in Manhattan? Plenty of 3* ($115) to 3.5* ($110) to 4* ($175) options with decent reviews. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. riki Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Because we have a 6 am flight and rental car that I don't want to have to deal with in the am
thereuare Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Return the rental the day before, enjoy a nite out in the city, and at 4:30am-5am (or whatever time you're comfortable with heading to the airport for a 6am flight) there won't be any traffic... hop in a cab. Would only add about 15 minutes to your travel time in the morning. As well, even if you took a taxi from the rental agency to Manhattan, and a taxi back to the airport the following day, it would end up being cheaper and you get the benefit of a nite in Manhattan. :)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
