Hotwire Hotel: Help with Downtown St. Louis hotels?

Newbie here, so forgive me if I don't do this quite right... :)

We are wanting to stay in St. Louis around Memorial day and we have kids.

Because of the kids, we really want a place with a pool.

I found both a 3* and 3.5* hotel in Downtown St. Louis and was trying to figure out which ones they might be.

Does anyone have any opinions?

And, do you think these prices are pretty good now or have you seen better?

The 3.5* is a possible match for the Sheraton, while the 3* is a possible match for the Holiday Inn or Millennium.

Now I am just trying to decide if I should go with Hotwire or give Priceline a try.

It's all kinda overwhelming in the beginning!

So, not sure if I have to update this post before I start a new topic, but for now, I am not going to be trying HOTWIRE. I am going to learn more about both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE and then decide which to use within the next couple of weeks or so.
