My guess is that this is the Hotel Monaco Alexandria with a new/limited amenity combination.

If you are interested in this property you can try changing your search to 2rooms/6adults/0chidlren and a 'new' hotel appears with:

Boutique, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Internet

This is the amenity combination previously associated with the Monaco so this would be a little 'safer' way to play it if this is a hotel you're trying to target.

Yesterday I tried to book room as you suggested. I requested 2 rooms 6 adults. I accepted offer at $96 and entered payment info---then was informed that the offer was no longer available. When I searched again the offer no longer came up.

Approx. 10 mins ago, I searched again, and requested 2 rooms 6 adults. I accepted offer for $99.00, and the same thing thing happened.

I immediately searched again using different combinations of occupants. This is the offer I received for 2 adults:

4* Alexandria Old Town $92

Amenities---Boutique, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, High Speed

If I accept, I am not sure what the probability would be that I could duplicate that result with another search.

You shouldn't book only one room. You have plenty of time so keep searching and see if your original comes back. It sounds like you hit HOTWIRE when they are "updating" the inventory.

Do a few searches and post back.

It was the Hotel Monaco. Booked for $102 a night. Total $1169 for 2 room, 5 nights.
